I love ordering take out from here. The food is always packed nicely and the food is delivered fresh. I hate when I order take out and the vegetables come mushy. This place makes sure the the veggies are cooked perfectly. I definitely recommend Jade King !!!
Great Lunch. Best Egg Drop soup and Sesame Chicken around. Boneless ribs seemed dry and dips for excellent noodle chips were somewhat unlike what I recall from going here with my Grandpa. The Lunch price, service and surroundings make this a standout.
It was so nice to just sit down at a place and have a nice meal. My wife and I enjoyed the Sesame Chicken. I love the Red and Black interior. There is also ample parking too.
Jade King is authentic old school Chinese food everything is always fresh and never covered in to much sauce the veggies are crispy they will make it anyway you want it . The Wonton Soup I have to say is thee BEST I have had I always bring a quart home thats how delish ..really everything is great. The service is outstanding we love Francis and his staff very attentive and friendly. Give them a try you wont be disappointed .
My grandma loved this place... which means this is good Chinese food. Not only are they friendly, they are fast. The restaurant is nice and clean too. The soup came fast and hot, it was filled with flavor. My favorites were the shrimp toast and general tsos shrimp! The beef chow fun was really good and you know sesame chicken is a classic. It's a great place for a fast meal that you know will be packed in flavor! Thanks Jade king!
For a long time I've been looking for a Chinese restaurant that made the Chinese food of my youth. More an Americanized version of Cantonese. Well I finally found one. Jade King is fantastic. It may not satisfy those looking for real authentic Chinese food. But if you're looking for the delicious Chinese food from 50 years ago. If you're looking for the dining experience you had on Saturdays and Sundays with family and friends you will find it at Jade King.
Jade King has been around for years and not much has changed in that time frame--same owners, same staff, same food, and same ambiance. There aren't many old-school American-style Chinese restaurants left on Long Island, so it's nice to visit when you're in the mood for these types of dishes. The food is an upgrade from your traditional take-out Chinese establishments, but I would say Jade King is great 75% of the time and good the other 25%. The service is always impeccably fast and the ambiance does the job. Are there better American-style Chinese restaurants? I'd say Hunan Taste has an edge in quality, but Jade King ranks higher in terms of price to quality. You won't be disappointed on your visit.
The sole survivor on the North Shore for good old-fashioned Chinese food. Good, prices, and ambience, all excellent.
